Join us, and the beautiful weather. Lots of club leadership development, demo's and free family fun activities around town.

During our Sports Week celebrations, the Mississauga Sports Hall of Fame is Celebrating our Winter Sports and Women in Sports.
Cheer on our Special Olympians as they compete at the Winter Worlds in Turin, Italy. From March 8 – 15, 2025 over 1,500 athletes from 103 countries will compete in 8 disciplines in the name of sport, hospitality and inclusion.
International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March, commemorating women's fight for equality and liberation along with the women's rights movement. #AccelerateAction

Annual Mississauga Sports Week “Celebrating Sports” puts a spotlight on our city and the diversity of sports and healthy activities in our community as we rebuild from the pandemic.
Spring/Summer week unfolds with support from the City of Mississauga and event partnerships with Erin Mills Town Centre. We're hosting an Open House at the Sports Hall of Fame Celebrating Winter Sports and Women in Sports. We're celebrating Special Olympics Winter Worlds in Turin, Italy - come out to Erin Mills Centre Court and sign the "Good Luck" Banner!

Mid week we're at Centre Court at Erin Mills Town Centre – showcasing sports and physical activity for the whole family. "Fitness Fun" for the whole family.
Wrap weekend includes training sessions for our sport groups and free outdoor fun continues with skating at Celebration Square and Port Credit Skate Track; outdoor disc golf and beautiful walks, runs and rolls in our parks and on our trail system. The beautiful spring-like weather is arriving just in time to enjoy some outdoor fun, too!

We're celebrating our winter sports while preparing for our Spring/Summer sports and recreation opportunities.
Hockey – OJHL’s Chargers, MGHL’s House League & Mississauga Girls Hockey Jr Hurricanes; MHL & GTHL games; MMBA Basketball, registration for the start of the MNBA’s Nikki Ross Memorial Umpire School, swimming, ringette, pickleball, free public skating around town at Celebration Square and PC Skate Track; with swimming, soccer, baseball, cricket and so much more ramping up for outdoor play. Have fun!
